Our ECCO brand was developed in 2012 and has gained world recognition in major markets for quality apples and pears. Jr’s Orchards is an

environmental award winning, family owned business exporting to the world from it’s own packhouse.

 Introducing our fab new brand of apples that are grown in the land of the long white cloud, ‘Aotearoa’ New Zealand just for your eating pleasure.

JR’s Orchards take pride in being the only large-scale award winning, family owned 135 ha export orchard in our countries capital region,  Wellington.  We believe the advantages of our growing region makes our company 

and its fruit truly unique.  With 80 ha of orchard trees under protective netting covers, this allows JR’s to produce clean fresh fruit with consistent quality and flavour.           We may be small but the capital brand is passionate about customers and the environment and is committed to delivering these high quality apples to the world.

Our place in the world

 The orchard sits on the banks of the Ruamahanga River and is one hour’s drive north from Wellington, capital city of New Zealand.

With 80ha of orchard trees under protective netting cover, this allows JR’s to produce clean, fresh fruit and consistent  quality and taste.

We may be small but the ECCO brand is passionate about its customers and the environment and is committed to delivering the high quality of apples and pears to the world. 

JR’s Orchards Ltd grows and market the ECCO Brand directly from their own Orchards, Packhouse and Coolstores, situated in the heart of the beautiful Wairarapa in historic Greytown.
